Thank you Mandy!

I have to thank Mandy @ "From Me" to "Mandy" for the wonderful comments and suggestions about my look when I'm all dressed up :-)

She sets a great example, that I certainly look up to, about not worrying about people noticing what I'm wearing.
You'll want to eventually get to the point where you don't really care if people notice what you're wearing. Dress nicely, even in semi-girl mode (and you do.) Then, just go about your business. What does it matter if people can tell you are wearing girly clothes? Leave 'em guessing. It's fun...
That's pretty much my theory, and the way I deal with my androgyny.
I am trying to push myself out there more and more to get my confidence up. That is really what the challenge is for me.

Miss and I are managing to make it out (with me en-femme) about once a month now.

In normal day-to-day personal life I'm pushing the gender-bending angle more and more. For me this is going out in male-mode (meaning no makeup except very light pink lipstick) and wearing girl clothes that are somewhat androgynous. I wear skinny jeans (and other ladies' jeans and shorts) with little concern. I also have some ladies' black low-heeled flats that I wear, and usually a bra under my top. That is my next area to push on more. I don't often wear ladies' tops on the weekend when we run our errands (I need to step up that game some more), but I have worn ladies tops to a few concerts we have gone to.

  2. Hi Jen,

I wholeheartedly agree with Mandy. A while ago I made the decision to wear what I liked/felt comfortable in, others be damned. Others are going to judge you, that's what people do! But as my wife says, "You need to do you". I've found that the more confidence I portray, the more people respond positively to me. I go out head to toe in women's clothes, my fingernails are ALWAYS painted and my legs are shaved and for the most part I get no reaction at all and sometimes I get complimented on my attire and/or nails!
