Another Saturday TGirl Night at Hamburger Mary's - Part 1: Getting Ready - LOL!

OK I think we are HOOKED!

I'm going to have to do this in two parts, this one covers getting ready. The next one will be about how it went.

Last weekend (Easter) we made another outing to our not local enough LGBT friendly Bar/Nightclub, Hamburger Mary's. The first Saturday of every month is a monthly dance party put on by Jamie Jameson / TGirl Nights.

This was an Easter themed party, with bunny ears for those wanting to wear them. Also, some kind of video production taping was going on. I'll talk about that in part 2.

The day started out as usual, with me running a couple of shopping errands the first part of the day, then doing my weekly epilating, getting makeup on, figuring out the outfit, and Miss doing my nails.

Figuring that we would be going to Mary's this night (and me having arranged my parenting responsibilities with my ex-wife to allow it), I had been thinking what outfit I should wear. I pretty much knew the skirt I wanted to go with, but I hadn't had time to get out my girl clothes to be able to see if I had an appropriate-for-the-evening top to go with it.

Luckily there is a discount clothing store by my office that on occasion I have made quick lunch time shopping trips to. I've had great luck finding tops and skirts there. So given that I wasn't sure I had a top that I'd feel good wearing along with the skirt I had in mind, I made a trip there the day before.

My good fortune continued, I picked out 2 tops and one was just perfect! A black top with a little silver and gold shiny *bling* on the front. I knew I had a bracelet and some equally *bling*'d earrings that would go well with it.

The skirt felt a little shorter and more exposed than the one I wore last time, so I was definitely pushing myself again in the anxiety department by not going in a conservative blend-in style. 

And to add even more to that anxiety, I was going in just my thong 'gaff' panties this time. Last time I had worn them on top of cut-off control top pantyhose to help keep any little embarrassing body parts from making themselves known as best I could. But I ditched the pantyhose mid-way through the night as way too uncomfortable and won't likely be trying that again!  

In my head the weeks prior to this night, I was thinking I really wanted to go with peep-toe heels. I had a pair, but they were just too worn out. Just a week prior I received a pair I ordered on Amazon that I was hoping would fit the bill. I had looked at local shoe stores and could not find the style in a size that wold have any chance of fitting me. I was really worried about them fitting, but I was hoping that being they were an ankle strap style I'd have some (literal) wiggle-room to work with. They fit perfectly! 

I was also worried they would be a new level of challenge for me to walk in, as they are 4 inch heels, and my others are no more than 3 inches. But after getting as much break-in time in them as I could before the big night, I managed pretty well. Actually better than the time before!

In the end I was really happy with the end result of the outfit! Miss did her usual awesome job with putting white-tipped nails on me, which worked great with the black and white color scheme. The stockings were black with black polka-dots! 

So much FUN! I finally consciously realized this time how it's actually really REALLY fun to dress as a woman. En-homme I never experienced any enjoyment in what I wore. Always practical and no-nonsense. I now finally understand why women need a lot more clothes then men.
