A while back Marian over at Crossing T's and Dotting I's suggested I try women's glasses to obscure my secret identity. Ok... I don't really have a secret identity, just a plain old normal one.
A few weeks ago I decided I needed some more earrings, as the clip on ones just break all too frequently on me and I was running low :-(
I went online shopping at Claire's, which has a descent collection of clip-on earrings, While I was looking I also noticed they carry faux eyeglasses, so I picked up a pair.
I think I got lucky and picked out a good pair! I really like the look of them, and Miss does too. One day I need to get my prescription done in a pair of women's frames. Maybe the next time I go into the optometrist.
Thanks for the idea Marian!
Those glasses are a very nice touch, Jen. The red socks are way cool!

Thank you Scott - you are too sweet!
DeleteGo dressed! A good chance to see how professional the folks at the optometrist's office are. I went in capris and a top to a new optometrist simply for their "2 pairs for $69 including the exam" offer. And now, not only do I have women's glasses, I'm on their records as female!

Oh that is so awesome Mandy! I need a bit more confidence going out en-femme before I'd be up to something like this.
DeleteI'm hoping this Christmas shopping season I might be able to hit the mall dressed up.
The fun part is...my wife can't tell they're women's glasses!

Yay! :-D

ReplyDeleteIn that outfit, you are obviously NOT trying to pass. But if you're having fun, that's all that counts....
