Quick post, electrolysis, and life's been busy!

I haven't had much to post recently due to the usual priorities in life taking precedence. Miss and I have been having a little fun now and then, but we haven't made it out much these past weeks. We did get to a concert for her birthday, and I'll try to write about that in a later post.

I haven't shared this yet, but I've been making pretty regular electrolysis appointments for a few months now. 3 or 4 per month, and I shoot for 2 hour sessions when they are available.

Laser isn't a good option for me as my facial hair is mostly white, and laser works best on darker hair. In fact, most of my dark hair is already gone now! Without the dark hair, I no longer have to take steps to conceal that awful beard shadow when I do my makeup. I had been using the technique of putting red/orange lipstick on my upper lip and chin area which contrasts with the blueish tint of the beard shadow. No More!!!!!!! This is such a great milestone for me, and now applying makeup is much easier and faster.

The overall improvement to how my face looks is noticeable. It's sooooo much smoother!

For those of you have gone through this, it's more painful in the areas around the lips. But all of the pain and discomfort are absolutely worth it. I did just pick up some numbing cream and will see how that helps. Regardless, I can't wait to finish off this part of transition :-D  I look forward to these appointments with tons of excitement. My level of happiness and hope for a future as a woman has never been greater!

Anyway, I hope you all are enjoying yourselves!

And now a few recent pictures...

  3. Jen -

Considering your erotic interests, please remember that becoming a woman does not remove the other problems you must deal with. They are still there, and you have another new problem - social prejudice against transgenders.

What I suggest that you try is living as a woman (outside of work) for a month, no fetishes, just as a plain cisgender woman would. Your mode of dress should be very conservative. And then tell us how you enjoy it. It's the quickest way to learn what you enjoy about being a woman - the same way that I did when first unemployed.

And yes, you are looking good.....

    1. Hi Marian!

I agree with you completely that we face a lot of prejudice as transgender people. Becoming a woman solves one problem (maybe it's actually set of related problems), and that is the one that is most important to me - not just being comfortable that I am living outside the way I feel inside, but also actually feeling happiness and "correctness" about who I really am.

And yes - I would be spending all my time en-femme if I could, but I have primary physical custody of my kids and I am probably at least waiting until end of next year to consider coming out to them. That's when the last one is done with high school. Actually my next step is having my girlfriend move in with me. Coming out will have to come after the dust settles with that.

I do dress conservative when out for routine errands, and that is great advice - thank you!

You look good too, from all that I've seen you posting on your blog!

Take care and have a great weekend too!
