As it turns out, not looking so Halloween appropriate

I was hoping that my first sissy dress would be something that I might be able to wear this Halloween. But when I tried it on, it's really waaaay too short.

It was more of an afterthought than a plan, so I'm not too disappointed.

However, Miss absolutely loved it! In fact she was completely surprised at how much she really enjoyed seeing me in it. So much so that she wants me in that look again this weekend.

She said she wanted to try it on herself, but I'm not sure if that's because she's curious about how it would fit on her, or if she's curious how she would look as a sissy?

I will make sure to remind her that she wanted to try it on this weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing what she looks like in it, but honestly it isn't anywhere close to her style in my opinion.

Oh, I had let my fingernails grow out a little bit longer than usual, in the hopes that maybe it would work out to paint them. I've done this several times in the past, but it hasn't worked out. This past weekend we impulse bought a French Manicure pen, and Miss did my nails up really nice! I wish I had thought to take a picture of them, but you can see the white tips in the left-hand picture above.

This was actually one of the very few times my real nails were painted. A couple of times in the past I wore the Kiss brand fake nails which I really enjoyed. But the French Manicure looked really good!

I much more often have my toes painted than my fingernails as I can keep those hidden from the kids during the week with socks and shoes, at least when it's not summer time, so I don't have to take it off after just a couple of days. What has kept me from doing my fingernails every weekend is the amount of time to take it off, and sometimes there are still flecks left even after a lot of effort with polish remover and Emery boards. But the clear polish with the white pen for the tips doesn't have that problem so I'm hoping I can much more often have the French Manicure.

On my drive to work this morning I was trying to imagine an outfit for Miss that I think would be in the new style she is moving toward. What came to mind is something like an opaque black or "gothish" style bustier for the top (satin-y), black fishnet pantyhose stockings with her Doc Martens, and a black satin skirt or form fitting shorts.

We might need to do some clothes shopping this weekend! Hmmm, maybe this is chance to go out dressed? I would need to think about where to go shopping that I'd feel comfortable.

On last note, also last weekend we were doing our usual shopping errands. Miss had picked out a pink shade of lipstick that she wanted me to start wearing while we're out (when in boy mode). She said she thought it would look fine if I just put it on really lightly.

I gave it a shot, but the lighting in the bathroom was such that it didn't look like I had lipstick on. When we were outside it was very obvious that I was wearing it.  I tried to blot a little off before we arrived at our first stop, but it apparently was still noticeable.

Miss said she would be ok if I took it off, but I decided not to. People definitely noticed, and Miss told me one lady looked at me in disgust. Right on! :-)

  1. Now that is a fun-looking outfit, Jen. You look beautiful in it, and very sweetly feminine. I hope you and Miss will have fun with that outfit, no matter who is wearing it!

Have any of your, or Miss's, friends seen you wearing any of the new clothes or makeup yet?

    Kind regards to you both,

    Scott

    1. Hello Scott!

Thank you so much! Miss hasn't tried it on yet, maybe in the next week or two. If she does I'll comment something on it.

She wanted me in it again this past weekend - this Sissy thing seems to be something she really is enjoying!

We don't share this with anyone we know yet. But in the past I have been dressed a few times as a woman, and with painted toenails in the presence of her adult daughter.

Her daughter is awesome - completely open and accepting of people, however they are (LGBT, etc.) so I know I am and will continue to be accepted by her!

Thanks as always for your posts and questions!

    2. Jen -

Halloween would be the perfect time to wear your sissy outfit outside the house. If anyone asks, you can say you wanted to go over the top with a costume, and you think you succeeded - then ask - did you succeed?

  2. Here is the easiest way to remove fingernail polish:

Cut five 2 inch squares of aluminum foil You'll do one hand at a time (or all 10 toes at once). Take a cotton round and soak it pretty well with 100% acetone. Cover the nail entirely with the round and wrap it up tightly with the aluminum foil. Let the acetone soak in for about 10 minutes. Take the foil off and the polish should slide right off with virtually no scrubbing or effort!

My Miss taught me that trick :)
