We had a great day, smoking ribs, swimming, and so on. I'll write a post with more about that soon.
But to start of our day, we needed to pickup a few things first, so of course I would be wearing a bra under my boy shirt for the trip. This is pretty much standard with Miss, that I'll be wearing a bra when we're out. She's told me several times that she likes how apprehensive and self-conscious I am when there is a chance that someone will notice I am a boy in a bra.
I do try to keep my body constantly oriented to minimize the chance of that, but it's a constant thing when we're in public to have to worry about. And let's face it, in a store with probably 100 or so shopper's in it, some are going to see.
So before we left I asked Miss if my straps were very noticeable. I do this to give her the final say as to how I look going out.
I turned so she could see and she smiled wide & happy and said "Yes they do show! Are you worried?" She answered her own question of course - "TOO BAD!!!!"
Here is what I looked like from the back:
At our first stop it didn't seem that anyone noticed, except I think standing in the checkout line the lady in front of us probably noticed while I had my back to her as I was putting stuff on the checkout conveyor belt.
And at our next one I caught a lady checking me/them out, looking not very sure what to make of it.

ReplyDeleteIf you want a more delicious fear, you should be picking up all your shirts and sweaters from the woman's department.... Having the buttons on the wrong side is a giveaway that only people looking at close range will notice.

Great to hear about wearing a bra in public. My wife has had me wear a bra at home a few times. I wore one out to the store one time, but she wasn't home then.
ReplyDeleteShe recently sorted through her underwear drawer and pulled out about 6 old bras that were getting old and tired or didn't fit her. She left them in a little stack in the bedroom rather than throwing them out. I have been so curious as to whether she has any plans for having me wear them. I want to ask, but on the other hand I want to leave it up to her to tell me to, if she does.

DeleteYes I love it so much being told what to wear! Recently my girlfriend said I can pick my girl clothes out myself for wearing at the house, but she will tell me what to wear in public.
I can't tell you how great I feel when she's telling me what to do! It's uplifting for sure!
